Peter F. Bidey, DO

Peter F. Bidey, DO, MSEd, FACOFP, is an ex-officio member of the POFPS Education Committee and 2022-2024 POFPS President. Vice chair and assistant professor of family medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and director of the family medicine residency program at Suburban Hospital in Norristown. Dr. Bidey is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. A graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, the University of Pennsylvania, and a 2008 graduate of PCOM, he completed an internship and family medicine residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital, and a training in policy studies fellowship at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. A fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Dr. Bidey is a member of Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Medical Association.
